WILpower provides access to practical and high quality legal resources, offers technical support and programming, and utilizes the latest information and communication tools to improve the professional development of young female law students and lawyers.
WILpower supports the professional development of young female law students and legal practitioners by building local national-level hubs, or network chapters, and enhancing these with relevant technical legal skills training (legal research & writing, and oral argumentation), leadership development for young lawyers, business & entrepreneurial skills development for young lawyers, and legal knowledge sharing by mentor-experts.
WILpower designs activities according to local feedback and will monitor and evaluate the roll out of project activities. Targeted and relevant activities are implemented at both the regional level and locally in the Lebanese and Palestinian legal communities as well as in legal communities across the Gulf region. At every point of implementation, opportunities to involve expertise from across the region and internationally will be leveraged in order to broaden and deepen the collaborative efforts of the WILpower network.
